LET PEOPLE BE WHO THEY WANT TO BE!

The frog willingly agreed to carry the scorpion across the river, not because he had anything to gain, but because he wanted to help Mr scorpion who had repeatedly promised not to sting him. ''How do I know that you won't kill me as soon as we get on dry land?" said the frog. "Ahh...," crooned the scorpion, "Because you see, once you've taken me to the other side of this river, I will be so grateful for your help, that it would hardly be fair to reward you with death, now would it?". Surely, With the best of intentions, Mr frog did what he could to help Mr Scorpion, but as soon as they got half way to dry land, Mr Scorpion stung Mr frog. "How could you?" croaked the frog, "Now we shall both die, Why on earth did you do that?" . The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drowning frog's back."I could not help myself, IT IS MY NATURE. Self destruction is my Nature" said the Scorpion... Folks, how many times have we had failed relationships over and over with the same people who promised never to do us dirty ever again? How many times have we gone back to do business with the same friends/relatives who didn't give us our fair cut in the past business transactions? It is wrong to even think that you are naive or easy gullible for putting yourself back in the hands of those people or

situations. The take home for you should be to let people be who they want to be. If you know for a fact that Mary can't be trusted with money simply because she lacks financial discipline, then do yourself a favour, don't do business with her. If you know for a fact that Monica is reckless with her mouth, and can't keep anything confidential then don't tell her your sensitive issues. My two cents worth here is simple, know people for who they are, and then let them be who they want to be. You don't necessarily have to cut off every individual that rubs you the wrong way, but you can use the information they displayed, to have a better relationship with them.
